Lab kit
This kit contains lab materials for participants to complete the modules Bacteria Are Everywhere and Food Handling is a Risky Business. Additional items needed for the labs are described in the Food Safety FIRST online course and in Science and our Food Supply.

  • 16 poured petri dishes containing nutrient agar
  • 16 sterile cotton swabs
  • 16 small pieces petri film
  • 3 pairs vinyl gloves
  • 10 alcohol swabs (packaged isopropanol swabs)
  • refrigerator and dial thermometers
